2018 Report

For the purpose of improvement of the Architectural Design, in 2018 the International Charitable Foundation for the Development of the Holodomor Victims Memorial conducted a fundraising campaign, following which UAH 2,877,923 in donations was channelled directly to the accounts held for Project Systems LTD LLC, which in cooperation with the architectural firm Nizio Design International, Poland was responsible for development of the Architectural Design of the Holodomor Museum.

Moreover, UAH 3,246,743 of contributions were made to the accounts held for the International Foundation for the Development of the Holodomor Victims Memorial in 2018, which were then applied by the Foundation to pay for development of key solutions for the Architectural Design of the future Museum by Nizio Design International, Warsaw, Poland.

2019 Report

Implementation of the fundraising programme Road to Truth, initiated by the International Foundation for the Development of the Holodomor Victims Memorial, brought UAH 5,125,888.06 of donations in 2019. These funds were applied to pay for design works at the Detail Design stage and implementation of author’s oversight of the construction process by Nizio Design International, a co-author of the Architectural Design of the Museum.

Road to Truth fundraising campaign

In spite of the pandemic situation, Ukrainian benefactors donated UAH 3,500,000 for the Holodomor Museum Creating Project in 2020.

SoftServe’s donation within the crowdfunding platform Grains of Truth

Realising the need to intensify the fundraising campaign Road to Truth, the International Charitable Foundation for the Development of the Holodomor Victims Memorial jointly with the IT company SoftServe between May and November 2020 developed the original crowdfunding platform Grains of Truth. The purpose of the project is to engage in creating the Holodomor Museum as many individuals as possible, both from Ukraine and abroad.

Under the project, SoftServe developed software worth UAH 992,420 and transferred it as an intangible asset to the International Foundation for the Development of the Holodomor Victims Memorial into possession for business use or operation control free of charge.
In 2020, supporting the crowdfunding platform Grains of Truth, SoftServe donated UAH 2,840,000 for the Holodomor Museum Creating Project.

In January 2021, SoftServe donated UAH 1,414,000 through the Grains of Truth platform to support creating the Holodomor Museum.
As of 15 February 2021, with a company-wide campaign SoftServe staff raised UAH 142,595 on the Grains of Truth platform for the Holodomor Museum Creating Project.

Thus, as of 15 February 2021, UAH 5,389,015 was donated by SoftServe.

The International Foundation for the Development of the Holodomor Victims Memorial and SoftServe continue cooperation for development of the Grains of Truth platform.

Private donors’ contributions through the Grains of Truth platform

As of 15 February 2021, (since the launch of the Grains of Truth platform) 3,002 benefactors donated a total of UAH 930,889 for the Holodomor Museum Creating Project.

The funds received by the International Foundation for the Development of the Holodomor Victims Memorial from fundraising projects were applied to pay for the services to create and implement the communication strategy of the fundraising campaign and launch of the crowdfunding platform Grains of Truth, and also to pay for the work to produce the Detailed Concept of the Main Exhibition of the Holodomor Museum on the basis of a Contract with Haley Sharpe Design (UK-Canada) and Nizio Design International dated 31 July 2020.
