On 30-31 July 2019, the international team, which is working on the Holodomor Museum creation project in Kyiv, had a working meeting in Warsaw.
At the meeting they signed a Memorandum of Intent to set up an international designer consortium for developing an exhibit design of the Holodomor Museum. The document was signed by: the National Museum ‘Holodomor Victims’ Memorial’ as the future Project Owner, International Charitable Foundation for the Development of the Holodomor Victims’ Memorial as the Coordinator and Haley Sharpe Design Ltd (UK – Canada) and Nizio Design International (Poland) as the future Contractors.
The Memorandum defines functions of each Project participant. The parties declared therein the organisational, moral and ethic, professional, and communication principles of further cooperation.
The meeting was participated by Deputy Minister of Culture of Ukraine Tamara Mazur, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the International Charitable Foundation for the Development of the Holodomor Victims’ Memorial Ivan Vasiunyk, member of the Supervisory Board Bohdan Onyschuk, Director General of the National Museum ‘Holodomor Victims’ Memorial’ Olesia Stasiuk, Foundation Director Lesia Hasydzhak, Foundation Deputy Director for International Cooperation and Fundraising Svitlana Batsiukova and member of the Museum content group Natalia Dziubenko. The Nizio Design International team was represented by Director Mirosław Nizio, Executive Director Tomasz Nowakowski and Project Chief Engineer Bartłomiej Terlikowski. For Haley Sharpe Design at the meeting were present its Director Gary Walker-Kerr and Technical Director Kevin Callis.
All team members are having their next working meeting in Kyiv from September 18 to 20, 2019.Share
